Lisa Harvey, DVM

Dr. Lisa Harvey graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine with highest honors in 2005. Since childhood, Dr. Harvey has been obsessed with animals. She is a dog-lover to the core. Her obsession with animals led her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine in 2001.

Dr. Harvey settled down in Georgia after her graduation from vet school in 2005 and began her career as a veterinarian in the Atlanta Metro area. There, Dr. Harvey accumulated the bulk of her experience at clinics surrounding Atlanta. Her special interests include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and wound healing.

Seeking a change of pace, Dr. Harvey laid down her roots in Savannah in 2022, where she still enjoys the wide diversity, quirkiness, and culture that Savannah offers its residents. She joined our team at Central Animal Hospital in December 2023. A true dog-lover, Dr. Harvey currently resides with 2 pups of her own—Tater, a terrier, and Desmond, a lab mix—whom she loves to take on weekend hikes.
